Overview:
ITAG is seeking an experienced and organized individual to fill the role of Admin & Operations Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the secretariat through administrative and logistical activities
- Coordinate membership engagement through organizing networking events
- Administer and manage membership dues
- Manage the official communication channels of the association, including email, social media, website, etc.
- Maintain the fixed assets register and ensure its regular update
- Ensure the security of office equipment and technology
- Ensure financial transactions comply with policies and procedures and have relevant authorization and documentation
- Record, file, and maintain financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner, including the cheque book
- Administer cash advances and petty cash, ensuring sufficient funds are available
- Manage the organization’s bank account to ensure availability of funds for authorized transactions
- Complete monthly cash and bank reconciliations
- Work with Board Members to prepare internal and external financial reports, including reports to the Board.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in administration and operations management.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
