Job Title:         Admin & Operations Officer

Overview:

ITAG is seeking an experienced and organized individual to fill the role of Admin & Operations Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the secretariat through administrative and logistical activities
  • Coordinate membership engagement through organizing networking events
  • Administer and manage membership dues
  • Manage the official communication channels of the association, including email, social media, website, etc.
  • Maintain the fixed assets register and ensure its regular update
  • Ensure the security of office equipment and technology
  • Ensure financial transactions comply with policies and procedures and have relevant authorization and documentation
  • Record, file, and maintain financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner, including the cheque book
  • Administer cash advances and petty cash, ensuring sufficient funds are available
  • Manage the organization’s bank account to ensure availability of funds for authorized transactions
  • Complete monthly cash and bank reconciliations
  • Work with Board Members to prepare internal and external financial reports, including reports to the Board.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in administration and operations management.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
