Software Development Internship: – ITAG and Sector Skills Council Partnership
The Sector Skills Council made up of a diverse set of Tech ecosystem players with funding from the JSF Project (ITC) is currently piloting a 15-month Software Development Course. The Sector Skills Council works closely with partners, National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority (NAQAA). It plays a vital role in bridging the gap between companies’ demands and skills requirements in the ICT Sector.
The course spearheaded by development partner Binibii will train up to 12 students in software development over a 12-month period with a 3-month internship facilitated by ITAG. ITAG has partnered with 8 top Software firms for this program, namely: –

- MRC Gambia (Data Management)
- 2m Corp
- Forte Innovations
This February, the partner companies will visit the students at their training venue to better understand the curriculum and also meet their future interns. The Internship will run from July 2022 to September 2022.
